Aquatec Servicios y Suministros S.A.S. was incorporated in October 1992 in the city of Barranquilla. At the beginning, its corporate purpose was the supply of swimming instructors, lifeguards and pool attendants; however, as time went by, its product portfolio was expanded to include the physical and chemical maintenance of swimming pools, the sale of chemicals for water treatment and the entire line of equipment and accessories for swimming pools, as well as the treatment of drinking water plants.

 At present, Aquatec also has business units for the development of hydraulic designs, waterproofing and the construction of swimming pools, saunas, turks, waterfalls and fountains as well as the sale of spas.

Aquatec has worked in the public and private sectors. Within the public sector, the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the National Police and the National Navy have stood out as clients.

Within the private sector, clients include compensation funds, educational institutions, hotels and construction companies.
